Carl J. Evans is a mental health pioneer who has dedicated almost 20 years to mental health education and suicide prevention.
Carl pioneered "Proactive Suicide Prevention" strategies that drive early recognition and intervention and are currently utilized in communities, agencies, and organizations across the globe.
In 2021 Carl founded the Hope for Us Network, a lived-experience coalition disrupting the highest risk factors for mental health crises through proactive prevention education and outreach.
He began fiction writing in adolescence, making his own comic books inspired by Chris Claremont's X-men series and Brian Jacques's Redwall series books.
